AU entries must he made subject to the condition that all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of Stewards present, or whom they may appoint, and that such decision shall be final and binding in all cases. Nominations for Handicap Hurdle Race, Birthday Handicap, and Clareville Handicap, to be made in writing, stating name, pedigree, performances, descriotiou, and age of horse, and the color? of the rider, aoa to be sent in accompanied by the nomination fee to the Hon. Secretary, G W. Deller, Carterton, on or before THURSDAY, 29th Apeil, 1896, at 9 p.m. Weights to be declared on FRIDAY, 7th Mat, 1886, and published in the local newspapers. Acceptances and General Entries to be made ou or before MONDAY, 3411! Mat, 1886, at 9 p in. Three entries or the public money will be withheld. No protest will be considered uoleas lodged with the Secretary, within ten minutes after the race, aecompamed by a deposit of two pounds, which shall be forfeited if the stewards are of opinion that the protest is frivolous or vexatious.
