All entries mart be made eabject to the conditioa that ell disputes, claims end objections srising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of Stewards present, or whom they may appoint, and that each decuion shell be final and binding in all leases. Nominations for Handicap Hurdle Race, Birthday Handicap, aed Clarenlle Handicap, to be made in writing, stating name, pedigree, performances, description, end age of horse, end tie colon of the rider, end to be sent in accompanied by the nomination fee to the Hon. Secretary, G. W, Deller, Carterton, on or before THURSDAY, 29ih Ann., 1888, at 3 p.m. Weights to be declared on FRIDAY, 7th Mat, 1888, end published in the local newspapers. Acceptances nnd General Entries to be made on or before MONDAY, Mrn Mat, 1888, at D p.tn. Three entries or the public money will be withheld. protest will be considered unless lodged with the Secretary, wil bin ten minutes after the race, accom“J » deposit of two pounds, which shall be forfeited if the stewards are of opinion that the protest is frivolous or vexatious. All jockeys to ride in the colors nominated or a fine of l eov. will be enforced. The saddling bell will ling at 11 am., first race to start at II 30 sharp.
