School Examinations.
WAIHAKEKE bCHOOL. The Waihakeke School wu examined by Mr Lee, Inspector, on Taeedtj. There ere now 60 children on the toll. Oat of tbie number presented, 1 failed ; the school time making 90 per cent, omitting two absent, and two excepted under the new regulations. The following passed : Standard I—Florence Cadwallader, Edith Goodin, Arthur Braithwaite, Arthur Strawbridge, Percy Maunsell. Standard ll—Edith Warrington, Edith Butler, Maud Maunsell, Francis Meyriek. Standard Hl—Martha Goodin, Bose Williscroft, Marian Moncrieff, Elizabeth Eaton, Ada Maunsell, Arthur Cadwallader, Frederick Udy, Charles Eaton. Standard IV—Emma Braithwaite, Ellen Eaton, Laura Braithwaite, Elizabeth Warring* tou, Harry Cadwallader, Leonard Strawbridge. Standard V—Emily Strawbridge, Jessie Moncrieff, Harry Maunsell. Standard Vl—Lilian Braithwaite, Herbert Strawbridge. MATARAWA SCHOOL. The examination of the above school has resulted’as follows Presented, 31 ; passed, 28. With one exception the whole of the children passed •• strong,” and their work reflects credit upon the teacher, Mr Ponsonby. Standard I—Charles Jones, Oswald Welch, Kate Ordish, Lottie Ticehurst. Standard ll—Flora Gallon, Ltlliau Jones, Edith Oldish, Charlotte Ordish, Mary Thompson. Standard lll—James Jones, Frederick Jones, Albert Knowles, Allen Welch, Leonard Zillwood, Herbert Ticehurst, Jessie Gallon, Margaret Ordish. Standard IV—Herbert Knowles, Mary Welch. Standard V—Robert Jones, Edwin Ticeburst, Lucy Sedger. Standard Vl —Jemima Gallon, Charles Ordish.
