Arrest of a Bank Manager.
On the 20th of last month the manager of the Bank of New Zealand at Sydney (Mr E. B Holt) disappeared. At first no grounds Lr his leaving could be discovered, but time moved tuat there was occasion. He had net-n ejaculating heavily ou the turf, and evtting into financial diilicultiea he absconded with funds belonging to the bank. A tele gram from Brisbane dated yesterday states that lie was arrested at that place on Monday. He Lad assumed the disguise of a priest, and when searched 200 sovereigns and a bill of exchange for £SOO were found in his possession.
