CARTERTON v. MASTERTON. A rifle match was to have taken place at the Carterton Range on Saturday, between ten members of the Master ton Company and the same number of the Carterton, but owing doubtless to the threatening weather only five of the Masterton men drove down, consequently a scratch match of five aside was arranged, the Masterton men winning by 18 points The wind was very baffling. Subsequently the other five Carterton men fired and beat both the first scores by six points. The following are the scores Cabtebton.
