RULES AND REGULATIONS, Entries for open races to be made to the Secretary, on the ground. Two competitors to start, or no prize; three to start, or no second prize ; four or no third prize. The decision of the Committee, or whoever they may appoint, shall in all oases of dispute, be final; and all protests shall be made within a quarter of an hoar after the event. St Patrick’s Handicap will be run in 3 events and count by points—s first; 8 second; 2 third. First Prize, L 6 ; 2nd L2 ; 3rd LI. In the event of the weather proving unfavorable, the Committee shall have it in their power to postpone the Sports from day to day. Nominations for St Patrick’s Handicap, Hurdles, Two Mile Walking Race, One Mile, Half Mile, and Friendly Societies' HandU caps, closes on 4th of March. Acceptances to be received on the ground. All competitors for the above handicaps to send in their performances for the last six months to the Secretary, with nominations. Admission Is ; children under 12, half price. Trains leave— OREYTOWN SATURDAY TRAINS. A train leaves Oreytown at 7.40 a.m.,running down to Featherston, arriving at 8.5 and dropping passengers there to wait until 8.52 (or the train from Uastorton to Wellington. This train returns to Oreytown, and leaves again at 8.45 (or Woodside, and then runs to Carterton and Uaaterton. It leaves Featherston at 3.10, Woodside 9, Carterton 9.28, arriving at Uaaterton at 9.55 a. m. Leaves Uaaterton again at 10.10, Carterton 10.40, and arrives at Woodside at 11.5, where It meets the morning train from Wellington. It then runs up to Oreytown, arriving at 11.25. At 2.56 the Oreytown train runs down to Woodside with passengers (or the train to Wellington from Uaaterton, leaving Woodside at 8.15, arriving at Oreytown at 8.30 At 10 minutes to 4 it again leaves Oreytown, runs down to Woodside, arriving there at 4.6; from thence up to Carterton, leaving that station at 4.32 and arriving at Uasterton at 5 p.m. Leaves Uaaterton again at 5.15, Carterton 5.45, Woodside 6.12, arriving at Featherston 6.30. Leaves Featherston at 6.46 and arrives at Oreytown at 7.20. Leaves Oreytown at 7.40, arrive Woodside 7.50 to meet the Wellington train.
