Borough Streets.
For the information of the residents of the borongb of Oreytcwn and others, we would explain the exact position of the several street! and roads within the boundaries of the town, and the alterations in some names bom the names they have hitherto held. 1. Main Street. Originally Main Street oa the main road.
3- Bert Street. Parallel with Main Street oa east aids.
•. West Street. Parallel with Main Street on west aide.
4. Kuritiwhiti Street (late Kuritiwhiti Road). Leading from Poet Office corner towards Cottcrville end Matarawa.
5. Ddy Street. Banning through Mr Udjs property to Matarawe ford and swing bridge. 6. Moles Street. South side of Kuritiwhiti Street, leading by Mr Brooka’a home. 7 tlawkee Street. Alio on the south aide of Kuritiwhiti bUeet, leading by Mr John Hawke’i property. 8. HaatweU Street. On west side of Main Street, running between Mr Wood’s Auction Boon* and Boicogh Council Chambers. 9. Wood Street, formerly Church Street. On the west side of Main Street, leading wards Weat Street from eppoeite the Town Bail.
10. Humphries Street, lete Humphries Line. Leading by Wilton's blacksmith shop towards Woodaide.
11. Jacksons Eoad. Continuation of Humphries Street.
12. Cotter Street (Cotterville). 13. Great Roderick Street, Eaat side of Main Street from school corner.
14. Hirehberg Street. Leading from Great Frederick Street parallel with Bast Street (tether bask) 15. Church Street. Eaat side of Main Street from Greytown Town Hall leading to Eaat Street.
16. College Street, late Papawai Boad (town end) on the eaat side of Main Street, in line opposite Humphries Street, and leading to Papawai. 17. Papawai Boad. Continuation of College Street from bridge on to the Maori set Hemet.! and school at Papawai, also to Mr Baillie's sawmill. 18. Wakelin Street. East side of Main Street on south end in a direct line, and leading to Hoapital. 19. Be van s' Boad, and leading to Moroa, Morrison’s Bash, Martinboroagb, and the I'Ower Valley on the east side of Main Street opposite the fiailway Station. 20. Kempton’s Boad. Diverging in a diagonal line from the same corner as Sevan's Boad, and leading by Mr T. Kempton, junior's, residence on to Cross' Boad. 11. Croee Bead.’ Leading from the end of Rasnpton • Boed by Mr Cross'e home, and lre« thence on to Seven's Boad. . P®wh*tn Boed.
