The handicaps for this meeting, as I anticipated, have given such general satisfaction that in the Hurdles all have accepted, and In the T. C. J. C. all but two, viz , Gabble and Trickster, who of course, were not expected. In the (Jlareville Handicap all the beat horses are evidently determined to try conclusions with the exception of the Scrub, who is well in for the T. <J. J. C.. and liollo, whose owner probably does not fancy giving Revoke Ist lib. The other (Te Whiti), v.-ich has not accepted for the Cup, u entered for tbs MaiJeu Plate, which is more in his sphere as iu the other company the weight even of a half-penny newspaper stamp would not give him achauosto be near the front.
