EULES AES REGULATIONS. To which the attention of persons entering horses is partieulalry directed. The first saddling bell will ring atll.SOa.ni., and the first race starts at U sharp. Bach race will start punctually at the advertised tune. The races will be ran under the Wairarapa Jockey Club's Buies. No Qualification Bees. The Starter has the power to place fractions or kicking horses or disobedient jockeys in any position he thinks necessary to secure a fair start, and fines for disobedience will be strictly enforced. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, entrance money enclosed, with name, age at time of entry, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to be given. This only applies where horses have not raced in the Wairarapa, and where the performances are not included ia the N.Z. Turf Becord. . . All jockeys tonde in proper racing costume, and any jockey riding except in colors entered will be fined Eoen'ty will be accepted unless accompanied with the amount of entrance money. Nor wiu any entry be received after the hour named under any pretence whatever , . , No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition: That all disputes and objections arising out ot the races shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or .those whom they may appoint Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. The amount for second and thirdhorses will be deducted from the advertised amount of stakes. Two-year-olds may ran at this meeting in any open race up to It miles, except for the Lady's Bracelet. A “ Hack ” horse is one in actual use as a hack, which has not been in training for six months previous to the meeting, and which has not during that period been nominated for, entered for, or run for, other than hack races. Owners are particularly requested to observe that to avoid being fined, notice of scratching must be handed to the Secretary fifteen minutes before the time appointed to start.
