Volunteering.
The fenrth match for Lieut Cameron’s Onp snd Vol Varnham’s Album was fired on Saturday last by tha Qreytown Rifles, The weather was not conducive ot good scores :
* Ammunition Prizes. The officers ot the Qreytown Corps have intimated that they will supply every member of the corps with a copy of the regulations, and that lor the future they will be strictly enforced, particularly as regards absence from drill. The final match for the “ Unknown Cup ” will be fired on Saturday, commencing at 2.30 p.m. Mr Hillier has againjkindly prssented some prizes for odmpetition by the Qreytown Bides, viz., s valuable greenstone, to be competed for by the Native members of the corps ; also a field glass and a scarf ring for those members of the corps wbo have never won a prize of any sort before, the first match for which will take place on Saturday week next.
