Hack Hurdle Race, £ls ; second horse £2 from stakes. 1J miles, post entries £1; weight not less than 10 stone. 3. New Year Handicap, £4O; second horse £5 from stakes ; 1J miles. Nom., £1 ; acceptances, £2. 4. Novel Hack Race, £ls, 1 mile, 8 stone up ; entrance £1 ; winner to be sold for £ls, surplus to go to race fund. 5. V, R. C. Handicap, £IOO ; second horse £lO from stakes, 2 miles. Nom. £1 ; acceptances £2, and £2 befoie noon on day of race. 6. Flvino Stakes Handicap, £4O ; second horse £6 from stakes, } mile, nom., £1; acceptances, £2. £lO will be given for a hack race, if time permits. HOLES AND REGULATIONS. Thoraces will he run under the Wairarapa Jockey Club rules when not contrary to these regulations. The saddling bell will ring at 11.30, and the first race starts at 12 sharp. ... No entry will be received except on condition that all disputes shall be left to the decision of a majority of the stewards present, or those whom they may apSoint; their decision on all points must bo accepted as flat , , Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined £2. All protests must be made ia writing and lodged with the Secretary with a deposit of £1 within 16 minutes after the race, tho deposit to be forfeited if the stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Owners are particularly requested to observe that to avoid being fined, notice of soratchings must be handed to the Secretary fifteen minutes before the time appointed to start. A hack horse is one in aotusl use as a hack and which has never run for other than hack races. Entries and acceptances must be made in writing and addressed to tne Secretary of the F.R.C., Foathorston, accompanied by the necessary lees with name, pedigree, age, and color ofhorse and (in case ofhandioap, the previous performances) also colors to be worn by riders The Starter has the power to place fractious or kicking horses and disobedient jockeys in any position he thinks necessary to secure a fair start, and tines for disobedience will be strictly enforced. Nominations for Handicaps will close at tho Koyal Hotel, Featherston, on Tuesday the Ist day of December, at S. 30p,m. Weights will be declared on Monday, 14th December, atß 30 p.m. Acceptances for Handicaps to ba made on Monday, 21st December, at 8.80 p.m. The winner Df an advertised race of £76 or over, after the declaration of weights, to carry 51b extra in tho F.E.C.
