At Auckland another case of attempted suicide has occurred at the Old Men's Refuge, a man named Grant cutting his throat. He may probably soon recover. Shortly after midnight on Saturday a ibc broke out in Mackte's carriage factory, High Street, and before it was suppressed A goo worth of damage was done.
