Featherston Town Board.

The monthly meeting hub held on Monday evening. Present—Messrs Reynolds (chairmen), Donald, Candy, Hodderand Oakly The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Treasurer’s book shewed a balance of £79 16k 9d. The following accounts were passed for payment E. Blockham, £7 19s; A. Donald, £1 16s: J. Reel, X' 3 10s lid ; Featherston Road District, £lO Is 3d; Licensing Committee, £3 ; J. H. Hodder, £3 j C. TV, Keys, £ll7a 4d. Total £3l 3a «d, The pound book was laid on the table and fees IBs; the Ranger’s report was read and fees paid 7s; The Registrar of Dogs paid in fees ss; the Clerk paid in rent, 21a. Correspondence inwards was read from Clerk Fea* therston Head District with accounts for hall cost of metalling Murphy's Line ; also from Treason Office and Property Tax Department, re valuation. A complaint was received from a resident in Waite Street of a nuisance cieated by a neighbor keeping cows in his yard. Correspondence out wards *•-To Chief-Post mast er and Postmaster at Keatheralon re plac'ng a letter box at Mr Burt’s store.
