Greytowu Horticultural Show.
To the Editor cf the Standard. Si;'.,—The Grevtown Horticultural Show advertised to take place next week, and I hope it will be a good one and well pihtomsecl. But I have heard v.ry little about it, and I am afraid the people ot Greytowu do not Cake the interest they shoula in their own show. On every side I hear talk of “ going to the races," but scarce a word about going to the show or of exhibiting at it. Being a resident of Grevtown and believing that the people here love tlowers (judging by the many beautiful gardens), I hope that our show will not be a failure. I suppose the secretary and committee are energeticaiiy pushing matters on, though up to the present they appear to have been •• horn to blush unseen." Let us hope that everything is in apple-pie order, and that the Spring Show of Id-So will be not a whit behind those that have precede! it, If it is not, who will be to blame 1 I am, Ac., Sweet William.
