I think jending some explanation, it looks very much like obtaining money ftmir the rnl lie u; dor false pretences, as it was the fret if the Concert being for the benefit of that Fund, that induced several amateurs to take part in the Concert and in. its being so largely patronised. In conclusion, I think the Library Committee should call a special meeting to consider the matter, and to endeavour to obtain the money for the purpose for which it was intended.
