Suspected Murder.

On searching tho house the police found a pillow sup with a spot of blood ou it, a gin’s pinafore under some clothes with a good deal ol blood ou it, and a dress improver, also unutr some clothes, with blood ou it. Dr Hocken, in Lia evidence, described the wounds, and stated that there were a lew female hairs in tbe fingers ol each hand and a piece of bed tick, aud among the hairs were what appeared to be the btiollts el a brush, simhar to a dusting brush produced, Tbe daughter, after being oautroned, also gave evidence, and stated that when she got up on baturday morning the oack door was shut, but not locked. The blood on tho pinow sup was from her little girl's nose ; but she could not account lot that ou the piuatore. The inquest was adjourned.
