NOTICE is hereby given Unit the Council of the County of Wairarapa West, in exercise of tlm powers vested in it by the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1875, Amendment Act, 1878,” (section 29) and its further Amendments, intends to raako the following Special Order, viz.— That Mr R. A. Wake)in, of Greytown, sawmiller, be authorised to construct and work a tramway along and across a certain road in subdivision No 5, of the Taratahi-Carterlon Road District known as Moffatt’s Line. A plan or tracing of the said proposed tramway has been deposited and may be inspected at the Council Chambers, Carterton, and any objection against the passing of such Special Order must be made in writing and left at the Council Chambers aforesaid on or before FRIDAY, the 18th day of September, 1885.
