Serious Accident.
An accident of a very serious nature occurred on Saturday nijjht about 0 o’clock at Carterton. While Mr Jenson was going home on the Moreton road, driving a spring cart, the horse suddenly dropped down dead. Mr Jensen removed the cart from the road and went to procure assistance. During his absence trap containing Mrs Anderson and daughter, Mrs Cbfiou and her two children, drove up the road, when ihcir horse shied ai the dead one and threw the occupants oi tin? trap. Mrs Clifton and children escape 1 unhurt, but Mrs Auderson received such injuru's that 3>r Bey w.’S sent for immediately. He consider* her cundiiioucdtical, haring her shoulder bone hruUn on one siue and collar bone on the other, with *cvcrc iuu-rnal injuries.
