Political Rumors.
There is still talk in Wellington of a “ No Confidence” motion being brought forward. It is now stated that Mr Ormond has formally withdrawn his support from the Government, thereby following the example of Messrs Dargaville, Hislop, and G. F. Richardson. Meantime, Ministers are shaking in their shoes, and eager to come to some sort of compromise with their opponents on the East aud West Coast Railway question.
