As there had been no complaints made by any one prescut bo believed the outgoing committee could rest assured Hint the subscribers wero fully satisfied with the work they had accomplished during the past year. If the Town Lands Trustees favored the Institute with a donation, it would enable the new committee to provide a quantity of new books and this would materially assist to making the Institute appreciated to a greater extent. He bad noticed a lifer signed “ Sleepy Hollow,” in the Standard, which complained of a want of energy on the part of the committee. It was a pity the writer was not present to make a few suggestions. No doubt lie would bo pleased to know that the committee would soon be in a position to purchase .more reading matter. A vote of thanks to the obair concluded the business.
