Waihakeke School Annual Examination.
This school was examined by the Board's Inspector (Mr Lee) on Tuesday last, when the following children were successful in passing their required standards : Standard I.—Edith Warrington, and Edith Butler.
Standard ll.—Florence Strawbridge, Charlotte Goodin, Marian Monoriefi, Arthur Cadwallader, and Albert Strawbridge,. Standard lll.—Elizabeth Warrington, Emma Braithwaite, Laura Braithwaite, Alfred Williacroft, Joseph Cadwallader, Harry Cadwallader, and Leonard Goodin. Standard IV.—Henry Mauusell, Frederick Meyriok, Jessie Monorietl, and Emily Strawbridge.
Standard V. l.iiian Braithwaite, and Herbert Strawbridge. There was one failure in Standard 111, an! one in Standard IV. There are now 3S children on the books. The Inspector stated that he was thoroughly satislled with the school work and gave the children a holiday after the examination.
