Two competitors to start, or no prize ; three to start, or no second prize ; four or no tnird prize. The decision of the CommPVo, or whoever they may appoint, shall, in ail cases of dis- ' pute, be final; and all appeals shall be made within a quarter of an hour after the event. St Patrick’s Handicap will bo run in 8 events and count by points—s first; 3 second ; 2 third. First Prize, 100s ; 2nd, 40s; 3rd, 20s. Entrance fee for three events, ss. In the event of the weather proving unfavorable, the Committee shall have it in their power to postpone the Sports from day to day. Admission Is ; children under 12, half price. A GRAND PROCESSION Of Friendly Societies, in full Regalia, will start from Foresters’ Hall, a 10 a.m. headed by a Brass Band, which will play on the ground. Sports will commence at 11 O’Olook Sharp. AMALGAMATED FRIENDLY SOCIETIES’ Soiree, To be held in the Town Hall, St Patrick’s Day, March 17. Tickets (including refreshments)— Double 7s 6d ; single 6a, extra lady 2s 6d.
