The South Australian Government has received a telegram from the Colonial Office saying that if the colony, independently or conjointly, will despatch a force in time to arrive at Suakim by September, the Imperial Government will glaily accept its services. Enquiry is made as to the number, description, and training of the proffered troops, and stress is laid upon the importance of the whole contingent drilling together for at least a month.
