BAXTER’S LUNG PRESERVER Has been established over a quarter of a century, patronised by all ranks of society, and enjoys a success unparalleled. Consumption, Coughs, Colds, Bronchitis, Asthma, Whooping Cough, Sore Throat, and all Affections of the Chest and Throat EFFECTUALLY CURED BY BAXTER'S LUNG PRESERVER TESTIMONIALSFrom Rev. CHARLES PENNY, Reefton (late of Christchurch). March 17,1884. I am happy to state your Pulmonic Elixir afforded my wife and children almost immediate relief in coughs and colds, aud many to whom X hare had the pleasure in recommending your specific hare spoken of it as invaluable. In one case when every remedy tried was powerless to give relief (the cough was so distressing), the first dose of your Elixir proved most effective. In another case (sore throat) a cure was so soon brought about that the patient resolved in the future to take nothing else. Other cases could be cited, but these will be suffi* oient to show that your Pulmonic Elixir is & remedy of no mean order. From C. E. SALTER, Esq., Barrister and Solicitor, Inglis’s Building, Christchurch. March 20, 188 i I have used your Pulmonic Elixir in my family for some years past, and have found it to be very efficacious in Chest and Throat Complaints. From WILLIAM REED, Esq., Shipping and Customs Agent. Lyttelton, November 28th, 1883. 1 have used your Lung Preserver in my family for the last fourteen years, therefore have the greatest pleasure in bearing testimony to its .efficacy in the treatment of coughs, colds, bronchitis, croop, whoon* iug cough, &c. I have recommended it to my friends who have also proved it to bo a very palatable and speedy cure for chest and throat complaints. I have uniformly, found a single dose of “ Lung Preserver 1 * check a severe paroxysm of coughing. 1 shall on all occasions have great pleasure in recommending it to all sufferers, as X consider it a boon to mankind. From ISAAC ALLEN, Eeq., Commission Agent, Hereford street, Christchurch. December 5,1853. After seven years’ experience, I have groat pleasure in testifying to the efficacy of your ‘ Lung Prsserver,’ having proved it in my family to be a specific for coughs, colds, &c., few doses invariably subduing that nasty harassing cough, and while relieving the throat and chest, it does not, like other nostrums, disorder the digestive organs by inducing nausea, constipation, headache, loss of appetite, Ac. 1 can heartily recommend it as the best, cheapest, and moat palatable mixture known for coughs, colds, bronchitis, whooping coughs, &o. So highly do we esteem it that we always keeps a supply on hand. From W. B. SCOTT, Esq., Builder, &o. Peterborough street, Christchurch. December 1, 1883. Some years ago I was recommended to try a bottle of your “ Pulmonic Elixir and Lung Preserver,” for tightness of the chesi. I did so, and from that time I have never been without it in the house. I have found it answer in every respect for coughs, colds and sore throat, and would strongly advise those who are Buffering from such complaints to try it. The Rev. T. MYERS (ex-President of the , United Methodist Free Church) writes Hanover street, Leeds, March 25, 1972. I have the pleasure in testifying how rapidly and effectually Baxter’s Lung Preserver has acted in allay, ing cough aud irritation of the chest in the case of my wife, who has several times being under the necessity of using it duiing the winter. From Dr. J. EWART, M.E.C.S.L., &c. I am very much opposed to patent medicines generally and totally discountenance (he balsams, oxymela, elixirs, syrups and other emanations of unprincipled empiiics ; but X regard your Lung Preserver as a really good preparation, entirely free from those qualities which render most patent medicines dangerous and possessed of those tonic and (stimulating pi operties which render it a treasure to those who suffer from the exhausting effects of pulmonary disease aud chest affections generally. Xu oases of asthma it quickly cuts short the paroxysm. In chronic bronchitis or winter cough It is useful; the discharge of mucus is greatly assisted, and the wheezing and difficulty of breathing are greatly relieved by it. In acute bronchitis it is also beneficial, and whilst it tends to cheek infiammatiou, it promotes expectoration, aud thus relieves the laborious and difficult breathing so general in these attacks. As a Cough Medicine, for persons of all ages, it is excellent.
