Home Industries.
We are glad to notice that the subject of Home industries in connection with the New Zealand Industrial Exhibition is receiving a considerable amount of attention. The Committee which has charge of this subject have decided to advertise in the leading papers in the various centres of population where committees have been formed ; to draw up a circular giving full information on the subject, similar to what has already been published, as the provisional synopsis of the classification, to be forwarded to the school boards, head masters, clergy, and other persons holding public posi - tions in the colony, asking them to bring the matter beiore children and their acquaintances in general, and to forward a similar circular to the Working Men’s Clubs, Trades and Labor Councils, large industrial establishments, and railway workshops throughout the colony. Definite information as to the prizes to be given in this branch will shortly be forthcoming.
