Engli-h jostage Btamrs may now be obtained at the General Post-office only, tbe chief object being to afford facilities to pet sons desiring to send home small remittances in stamps. A new style of brick is now being used in Germany. It is a composition of cork, sand and lime moulded into the ordinary shape. It is said that it has the advantage over the ordinary material of excluding sand, also being a good non conductor and very light. A German newspaper lately printed the following advertisement Wanted, by a lady of quality, for adequate remuneration, a few well-behaved and respectably.dressed children to amuse a cat in delicate health two. or three boars a day.' 1 The Woodville Dairy Factory has manufactured 13,343 gallons of milk into cheese since Uvh December.
