Any person May appoint the Public Trustee executor ana trustee under his will or codicil. Any present trustee may transfer the management of trust property to the Public Trustee, who will thereupon hold guch property upon the original trusts attaching * hereto. Any person, company, association, or public body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of tne Public Trustee upon trust for such uses as may be defined in the deed creating the trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may bo placed in the Public Tmst Office, for such trusts and uses and with snch pow era as may be defined in or by the said rules. All proposed investments are considered by a Board, consisting of the Honorable Colonial Treasurer, the Attorney General, the Comptroller and Auditor General, the Government Insurance Commissioner, and the Public Trustee. Reasonable Charges:—On estates such as now being considered the Public Trust is authorised to charge per cent on all receipts, and per cent on disbursements, and 6s per cent on all moneys invested. No charge is made for obtaining probate, nor for parsing stamp and property tax returns, nor for correspondence, however voluminous. Thus the saving to estates placed in this office is considerable.
