MASTERTON LITERARY INSTITUTE. NOTICE. fJHIE COMMITTEE of the Masterton Literary Institute hereby give notice that they have arranged for the following course of subjects in furtherance of the objects of the Institute:— Ist. Penny Readings from Selected Authors every Monday evening at 7 o'clock. 2nd. Instruction in the Maori Language, every Tuesday evening at 7 o’clock. 3rd. English Reading and Arithmetic in its several branches, every Wednesday evening at 7 o’clock." 4th. Readings in English History, every Friday evening at 7 o’clock. The TERMS OF ADMISSION will be as follows: — To the Readings ONE PENNY each person. TO ALL THE CLASSES— Members, free; Non-members, ss. per quarter. Applications for admission to the several classes may be made to the Secretary, and as soon as a sufficient number of applicants are enrolled, the classes will be at once commenced. Members will have to provide the necessary books. Arrangements will be made for higher branches of instruction as soon as they are found necessary.
