Officers for the ne.w terms were elected as follows:—Patron, Mr W. G. Park; president, Mr J. G. Wynyard; vice-presidents, Messrs H. de L. Peake, F. Taylor, W. G. Kay, P. C. Hoban, D. Dunlop, M. H. Tims, S. S. Preston and J. Kay; club captain, Mr Dick Kay; secretary and treasurer, Mr S. A. Empson; selector, Mr H. Kay; management committee, Messrs J. Kay, D. Kay, and S. A. Empson. The subscription was fixed at 10s 6d, and it was reported there are several prospective new members in the district. ■ Mr Allan Kay reported having prepared a new polo ground on his property at Orakau, about five miles from Te Awamutu, and that it would be available for the Club's use at any time. He could have it ready for play as soon as required.—M'r Kay was heartily thanked for his offer, and applauded for his sporting spirit, several members congratulating him upon his sustained and practical interest in the game of polo and in Te Awamutu Club. It was arranged to hold another meeting next month to complete arrangements for the opening day of the season.
