WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

TE KAWA BRANCH. The November meeting of Te Kawa Women's Institute was held in Te Kawa Hall, when Mrs Broadbent presided. A very interesting account, of her trip to the Islands was given by Mrs Raymond Jones, of Te Awamutu, and snapshots shown of the various places visited added to the interest of the talk. It was decided to send an Institute calendar to the Battlebridge Women's Institute in Surrey, with which Institute Te Kawa is linked. Mesdames M. R. Ashton and C. S. Mexted were the hostesses for the afternoon.
