Ltd., report having- held tKeir usual momlialy stock sale) at Putaruru on Friday, a good yarding of all classes of stock came forward, practicially the whole entry changing hands to a good bench of buyers. The advertised herd of dairy cows came forward and all weive so.ld under very keen competition. Cattle: Cows in milk made up to £4 5s and spring cows £5 10s, the whole herd averaging £3 10s. Medium weight fat cows £3 7s 6d to £3 12s, light unfinished cows £i 12s 6d to £2 15s, medium weight fat heifers £2 15s to £3 ss, light fat hqifers £1 10s to £2 7s 6d, medium store, cows £1 15s to £1 17s 6d, boner and cull cqws 10s to £1 2s 6d, 4-year Shorthorn steers up to £5 17s, 3-year Holstein steers up to £5, yearling Jfereford cross steers and heifers £2 18s, ibulls £1 10s to £2. Pigs: A full entry changed hands under keen competition at well in advance of recent quotations. Good quality stories £1 9s 6d to 345, others £1 5s to £1 7s 6d, slips 19s to £1 2s 6d, best weaners 17s 6d, others 10s 6d to 10s 6d, sows in pig £2 lis.
