THE LAST STRAW. "If there's one thing I dislike move than another it is when a friend takes advantage of me," said the patient young man. "And who's been doing that?''asked his companion. "A fellow boarder," replied the young man. "He borrowed my dress suit." "That's certainly taking liberties,'"' observed the other. "Not that I mind, of course," the young man continued. "But when he asked me for my unbrella I told him I might want to use it myself. He got it just the same." "But " said his companion. "Simply said—'Oh, well, have it your own way. IslltjG^ The economic purchase of Tyres is quite a complex problem. It is not merely a question of getting a certain size of Tyre for the smallest amount of money; nor is it a matter of buying a certain weight of rubber and cotton for the same expenditure. The really important question in Tyre Buying is the ability of the Tyre to give a Maximum of Tyre Mileage lor every shilling of cost. Then, again : —and it is all-important—is the selection of the type of Tyre most suitable for the particular class of vehicle and road on which you operate. Also, you must remember the great strides that have been made in Balloon and Low-pressure Tyres. A few years ago a Tyre of this sort would have been out of the question for rear-wheel equipment on a twoton or larger truck. To-day these Tyres are in regular use on heavy commercial vehicles, and, moreover, they eliminate road shocks and give greater mileage. We caution Motorists to consider Tyre use with Tyre price when re-fitting cars or trucks. We place advice and service at your disposal. OFFICE AND GARAGE: ARAWATA STREET, TE AWAMUTU. Phone 20.
