WAIKATO MARKETS. HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Qampany, Ltd., report:— At the weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards en Tuesday, the entry oi fat wethers and ewes was not so large as the previous week, but the demand was stronger than at last sale, and prices show an advance. Fat lambs again came forward in gcod heavy fat cows £4 to £4 4s, medium rates. The adveitised line of breeding ewes failed to reach the vendor's reserve. Cattle: A medium entry of ox beef met with gjocd competition, prices being firmer than last week, while cow and heifepi beef which was yarded in good numbers sold fkm at late values. Pigs: A medium yarding of pigs came forward; competition was keen, and prices advanced slightly on last week's quotations. Quotations: — Sheep: Heavy prime wethers 25s lid tio 27s od, medium prime wethers 24s 6d to 25s od, heavy fat ewes 21s 3d to 22s Bd, medium fat ewes 18s 9d to 20s, heavy woolly lambs 24s od to 25V; (id. medium 22s 6d to 23s 2d, light 18s 9d to 20s Id, heavy slKfcn lambs 20s to 22s 4d, medium shoini lambs 17s to 18s Od, store b.f. lambs to 12s lid, cull b.f. laantU to 7s 4d. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, report on thein weekly Frankton stock sale held on Tuesday as fol.ows: —Sheep: Owing to the short yarding of fat sheep, the prices obtained were in advance cf last week's quotations. Also a line of good store ewes sold satisfactorily. We quote: Good Hat wethers 23s 9d to 25s 6d, medium do 21s to 2S<3, heavy fat ewes £1 to £1 2s. fat ewes 18s to 20s, fat lambs 19s 6d to £1 Is, store 4,- 6 and Bth ewes up to 255. Cattle: Only a small yarding of ox beef came forward, prices being firmer than at recent sales.
