MARKET REMAINS FIRM

Prices for New Zealand butter on the London market have been steady at 77s to 78s per cwt during the past week. The market remains firm. The forward market is quiet after earlier sales at 9yd per i.0.b.. with an -isolated transaction at 9 7-Bd. Australian butter is now quoted at 75 3 per cwt. also unchanged on the week. Danish is selling at 89s, a rise of 2s 6u for the period. The cheese market is steady, white cheer e selling at 45s per cwt and coloured at 44s 6d, both unchanged prices.
