A FAREWELL SOCIAL. (Own Coi’respondent.) A most enjoyable time was spent in the Te Rore schoolroom on Friday evening, when Mr P. George was the guest cf honour, prior to his departure on a trip to England. Songs were contributed by Miss Rene Bell and Miss Roselle Bell, and elocution items by Mr P. Scriven. Ping pong and valried competitions were indulged in. Prize winners were Miss Roselle Bell, Mr P. George, Mr L. Allcock and Mi- J. Butterworth. Miss Johnstone and Mr H. Veen winning the Monte Carlo.
