NATIVE BIRDS
“One of the primary objects of this society is the encouragement of interest in NeAv Zealand’s native birds,” remarked Mr P. EMcKenzie, presiding at the annual meeting of the Auckland Zoological Society. “Five native parakeets and two young kiwis have recently been added to the Zoo, and these, with the native birds already there, will form an exhibit that should be the most interesting in the collection.”
