TE AWAMUTU CLUB. ' The men's senior championship of the Te Alwamutu Golf Club has now been decided, C. Blundell defeating M. Barnett in the final, over 36 holes, by 4 and 3. At the 18th hole Blundell was one up, and increased his advantage in the early stages of the second round. Good golf was played by both men. In the junior championship J. B. Muir defeated H. Peake by 3 and 2 after a strenuous and very even contest throughout.
The result of the semi-final in the Storey Rosebowl competition was a win for H. McDonald, who defeated J. P. O'Sullivan by 3 and 2. McDonald meets M. Barnett in the final of this competition.
