WAIKATO STOCK MARKET.
MORRINSVILLE STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Hamilton, report having held their usual Morrinsville stock sale on Friday as under. A good yarding of cattle came forward, the* majority compi’ising yearling Jersey and Jersey cross heifers. A full yarding of pigs came forward, the whole entry changing hands under brisk competition,. well up to ruling rates. .We sold fleshy Jersey cows from 35s to £2, boner cows 17s to 30s, 'sound 2-year-old empty Jersey heifers 25s to 375, 4-year-old Jerlsey bulls up to £4 15s)'. yearling bulls up to £3 2s Gd, pedigree yearl.ng bull 8 gns. A good entry of yearling heifers sold well up to prices at other Waikato centres. For quality well-bred Jersey heifers £2 ;14s to £2 15s and £3, smaller Jersey cross heifers £1 to £1 13s. Dairy cattle: Springing Jersey heifers close to profit £5 5s to £6, rnore backward sorts £3 5s to £4 iOs, small heifers £3, calved heifers up to il3, good quality Jersey cows calved £5 15s to £7 ss, others £4 5s . to £5, springing cows £4 15s to £G. Pigs: Medium porkers £1 12s to'£l 15s, light porkers £1 8s to £1 10s, good stores £1 2s to £1 7s, slips 17s to 21s, best weanerslßs|. others. 13s 6d/to.Tss.6d, sow and litter of three £2 10s, sows to farrow, backward, £2 6s to £2 10s.
