GIRL ELECTROCUTED

Press INVERCARGILL, Wednesday A girl aged 16, May Jeanette Chalmers, died at her home at Lochiel near Winton, this afternoon as the result of receiving an electric shock. It appears that the girl was on the roof cleaning the spouting and. slipped. She threw out a hand tti save herself and touched an electric-power wire and collapsed on the roof. Artificial respiration was carried on for over four hours, but without success.
