TO INK
Now, what can there be more poetic than Ink _ I really can't think ! It can lie in a pen Like a little black sheep, And then out again Like a fountain can leap. It may dwell in a well Or a bottle (like tears); It may tragedies tell, Or embody our fears, ; Our joys or our hopes, Our mumps or our mopes. And 'only to think what a lot may be got For a penny or two Of red, black, or blue ! 01\, do not the size of the bottle desp;se, But think Of the wonderful thought in the fluid that lies All ready tio rise like a Djinn to surprise The user of Ink !
