Wholemeal Flour Gives Flavour as well as DELICIOUS BROWN FRUIT CAKE (Will Keep Well). 4 Gups Bisley's Wholemeal 1 Cup currants 1 Cup raisins 1 Cljfpeel 1 Cup sugar 1 Cup butter 4 Eggs 3 Teaspoons baking powder Enough milk to make firm dough. Rub butter into meal, add dry ingredients, beat eggs well and add to milk before mixing with rest. This recipe will make small patty tin cakes or a large cake or cakes. A good family cake, full of good«ss. Don't forget the Wholemeal. WHOLEMEAL SCONES. 2 Cups Bisley's Wholemeal 1 Cup flour h Teaspoon salt 2i Teaspoons baking powder Piece butter size of egg rubbed into flour; mix with milk; add dates or raisins if liked. Make these up instead of your usual scones. Wholemeal can be used in many recipes instead of white flour. Wholemeal contains all the nourishment of the whole wheat grain.
