BOARD'S VISIT NEXT MONTH. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. In accordance with its policy of inspecting the railway system of New Zealand in order to assist in its administrative work the Railways Board will make a tour of the Waiuku and Paeroa-Taneatua branch lines. Local features relevant to the operation of the lines will be studied, and the Board is willing to meet representatives of local bodies who may wish informally to place their views before it, but no public functions are desired. . The Board will inspect the Waiuku branch line on the afternoon of sth July, and on the following day will proceed to Tauranga. On the Thursday the Board will go to Whakatane, and on the Friday will visit Taneatua and view the locality. Members of the Board will return to Frankton, via Rotorua, the same day.
