OTAHUHU FATALITY SEQUEL. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. A charge of manslaughter was preferred against Andrew Inglis Carswell, aged 25, stoker, in the Police Court yesterday. It was alleged that on Saturday last, at Otahuhu, he unlawfully killed Frederick Lovelock, aged 42.On the application of DetectiveSergeant Kelly, accused was remanded for a week. The magistrate, Mr F. K. Hunt, granted bail for £SOO end ordered accused to report to the police daily.
