;,• TO-NIGHT AND FRIDAY. "LOVE IN THE'ROUGH." Something new in screen treatment <>f musical comedy may be seen in "Love in the Rough," Metro-Goldwyn Mayer's picturisation of the stage hit, "Spring Fever," which opens at the Empire Theatre to-night. Although a musical comedy, this delightful film betrays none of the stilt-. ing device so commonly noted in screen transition of this sort. It is not only highly entertaining musically, but packs a thoroughly human . story without intrusion of dancing v choruses to slow up the story. Robert Montgomery is featured and is teamed with Dorothy Jordan, and Benny Rubin and Dorothy McNulty are paired off in comedy parts.
