The various characters oimhe play are in very capable hands, rehearsals have proceeded satiaactorily. x *' The body of Mr Warwick Stanton, ison of Mr J. Stanton, city solicitor,. Auckland, which was found on the left bank of the north tributary of the Makatote River on Sunday morning, was brought into Taumarunui late yesterday afternoon. Mr Stanton was lost on Ruapehu with a party of 13 Auckland University students on August 29. The discovery was made by a party of surveyors from the Wellington staff of the Lands and Survey Department. The credit for the success of the final search lies with Mr W. G. Nelson, of the Lands and Survey Department, Wellington, who last year completed a detailed survey of the locality from which a new map is to be published.
