LEVY AND EMERGENCY UNEMPLOYMENT CHARGE DUE IN AUGUST. is hereby given that the first instalment of the general unemployment levy under the above Act is due on Ist August, and is payable in cash on production of couponi-book at any Money Order Office by all males 20 years and over unless exempted. The Emergency Unemployment Charge is imposed on all salaries and wages earned on or after Ist August and must be deducted by employers and paid by means of special unemployment relief stamps affixed to receipts or wages sheets.
