SPOOKY
Spiritualists in the Monmouthshire valley are interested in the peculiar experiences which have befallen a Cross Keys young woman who complains she has been teased by spirits.
On several occasions while she was bathing her soap and towel disappeared in a mysterious fashion. Shortly afterward she married and the "spirits" apparently conquered their impish humour for a time. Eventually, however, her wedding ring vanished from her finger and no trace of it could be found.
Recently, having moved into a new house, the young woman was discussing its probable fate when it dropped into her lap!
