A "TANIWHA"
LAKE MYSTERY IN SCOTLAND.
People in the vicinity of Loch Ness, in Scotland, are much mystified over reports of a monster having taken up its, abode in the lake. Three young bank clerks from Inverness were fishing'from a boat on a calm night when there was a churning and splashing of the water, as if % fight between two large fish was in progress. ■"--.'/ ','';.- '.
• TKeh " it" suddenly came toward the boat at great speed, and, when about 300 yards away, turned to the right and' disappeared with a wriggling motion; into a deep bay. "It" raised, a; wave about two and a half ■feet high, sufficient to rock the boat. „•• A keeper on the shores of the lake says that some time ago he saw a "monster " swimming down the middle ,03? the lake, and that it looked like •a boat upside: down. , •
