MOTOR CYCLES COLLIDE
FOUR MEN IN HOSPITAL. GORE, this day. A collision between two motorcycles on the main south road, Charlton at 7.30 p.m. last evening, resulted in four men being admitted to the hospital. W. Meara, of Invercargill suffers from shock and slight concussion; J. Winton, of Invercargill, head abrasions and slight concussion; J. Favory, of Invercargill, shock and V. Shivas, of East Gore, a- fractured thigh. Mrs Winton, a passenger on the cycle driven by Winton, escaped injury. Heavy rain was falling at the time and the night was very dark. GORE, this day. Olwyn Adams, the five-yaar-old daughter of William Adams, a railway employee at Gore, ran suddenly on to the road, and, being knocked down by a motor car, sustained a fractured pelvis. She has been removed to the hospital and it said her condition is grave.
