HAMILTON GUN CLUB
GOOD SHOOTING. Hamilton Gun Club held a shoot at Ruakura on Saturday under ideal conditions. Results: — No. 1 Sweep, six birds: M. Pratt, W. Percival, and T. Glenn, shot the possible and divided. No. 2 sweep, nine birds: M. Pratt, W. J. McMiken, and C. Seddon shot the possible and divided the sweep. No. 3 sweep, nine birds, for trophy presented by Mr W. Percival: W. J. McMiken and W. O’Kane shot the possible, and O’Kane won the shoot-off. No. 4 grmcrack, nine birds: Wm. O’Kane and Wm .Howe shot the possible; M. Pratt, W. J. McMiken, and H. E. Earle tied with eight. No. 5 sweep, nine birds: W. Woolven and T. Glenn divided the sweep with eight each. No. 6 sweep, American shoot: M. Pratt 1, W. J. McMiken 2. No. 7 sweep, double rise, 10 birds: T. Glenn and A. Woolven shot nine, each and divided.
No. 8, box sweep, was divided by W. Woolven and T. Glenn.
The trophy presented by the C.A.C.. to the Metropolitan Club for the team shoot was won by the Hamilton Club at Auckland.
